If you are struggling with anxiety it can feel overwhelming and very distressing. In excess, anxiety can stop you doing lots of things, sometimes anything, and it can feel like it is taking over your life. You feel like you live in a world of worry.
Even just trying to get through the day feels like an enormous effort, you may wake up anxious and go to bed anxious and sleep is disrupted.
I understand how anxiety can feel, whether is anxiety from the pressures of work or home life, or being in social situations. It impacts our lives in so many ways and leaves us feeling exhausted and struggling to cope day to day.
It doesn’t need to be like this, I offer a way to help you out of the circle of anxiety.
I will help you understand your anxiety and teach you a range of techniques that will help you can back control of your life.
Anxiety is different for everyone, and this is why I look at a unique approach for everyone I work with, looking at the best possible techniques that we both feel will work for you.
Often my clients say being able to feel they can talk about their anxiety and feel understood without judgement and understanding has felt like a weight has been lifted.

It’s important to remember, you are not alone. I provide a safe, compassionate space to gently explore together with patience and understanding, ways in helping guide you back to wellness, one step at a time.

I luckily found Karen while going through a difficult time, from the first session she gave me ways to start thinking positively and gave me different processes to help keep anxiety down. Through being able to talk to Karen openly I was able to work out what was causing my anxiety which was a big help in turning things around. I would recommend Karen at Mind Calm to anybody who feels they could benefit from therapy.
