Self Esteem

Having a healthy self esteem allows us to achieve what we want in life and have a positive outlook, it is our view of how we see ourselves but often we find ourselves struggling with the belief that everyone else is better than us, that we are not good enough and we begin to focus on our weaknesses not the wonderful strengths that we all have.  Talking therapies allow you to look at where you are now, and explore how you can begin to build a healthy self esteem.  Find our more about self esteem here.

The pressures of life can leave us feeling stressed and sometimes overwhelmed.   In small does Stress can be helpful, when working properly, stress helps you stay focussed, energetic and alert.  Too much stress however can have detrimental effects on your health both mentally and physically.  Therapy allows you to explore your own stressors, and helps identify useful strategies and tools to effectively manage stress in your life.   Read more about stress here

Work Related Issues

Love it or hate it, the fact is that we spend a considerable amount of time in a work environment, it can be challenging, it can be rewarding or you may want to be making a big change.  Even the most successful of people sometimes need to talk about their work life.  Whether it’s the stresses of corporate life or the pressure of running your own business, therapy helps you find tools to cope.  You may be looking for ways to manage your work life balance, work relationships that may be difficult or you may be experiencing bullying at work, or even being able to find more purpose and fulfilment in your working life.

We will talk through what has been troubling you and look at ways we can work together, looking at any approaches that may be beneficial to you that can help make you feel better and improve your well being.

Progress is at a pace that is comfortable for you and I work in an understanding and supportive way to meet your needs.

Where appropriate to help with the therapeutic process I may set homework in-between sessions so you can practice any techniques or tips we have discussed in our sessions.
